2 month check-up

Nathan had his 2 month check-up on Friday. All went well except for the shots :( Poor guy!! He's finally doing better for the most part. We are happy to report that he was in the 59% for weight and 80% for height! Thanks to some great advice via facebook from friends and family we got our tummy time down! He was never happy laying on his tummy and the trick was propping him up on something (the boppy for example). Here's a photo from him enjoying his tummy time! I also included a photo of Matt trying out my ring sling with Nathan in it. FYI the ring sling is amazing for baby wearing.

Whoa! Where does the time go!

Believe it or not....Nathan is 2 months old!!! I feel like it was just yesterday we came home from the hospital.

Happy Wednesday!

We have been quite busy lately. Nathan is growing so much, which includes less nap times! Over the weekend we all went to a Natural Family Expo here in Madison. We saw Irish dancers (kids of course) and some African drummers...amazingly Nathan slept through it all. We found some great all natural and organic stores in the area that we haven't heard of plus we learned how to make our own laundry detergent-bonus! Yesterday (Tuesday) Nathan and I went to a "Mommy and Me" class...it was nice to have some adult interaction and see where other babies that are Nathans age are developmentally. We seem to be right on track :) Plus it was nice knowing there are other moms out there with the same concerns and issues as me i.e. sleep and eating habits. So here are some photos- since Nathan is a mover and shaker now they are a bit blurry!

6 Weeks!

Where does the time go?!

I had my appointment yesterday and I got to get Nathan weighed too....a whooping 11 lbs 7 oz! Our son certainly is growing! One thing is for sure...I'll never get tired of watching him sleep....

Play time!

Nathan is really starting to like playing on his play mat. In fact he'll occasionally try and reach or grab for the objects hanging down. He's also starting to make new noises and focus on objects or people, such a wonder!

Hank and Gracie are also doing well ;) Neither have shown any signs of jealousy which is such a relief. We had worried about that before Nathan arrived. They actually just want to play with him!
